The London Centre opens new Hertford clinic!
We are really excited to be able to announce that we are starting a new satellite clinic in Hertford in April 2023. Our much loved and longstanding clinician Dr. Hayley Dolan will be heading our Hertford space, offering face to face sessions to children, adolescents, young adults with eating disorders.
The Hertford clinic will run alongside our two London clinics in Oxford Circus and Richmond-upon-Thames, and our Manchester Clinic in the heart of Manchester. The addition of this clinic to our service will bring expert, psychology-led eating disorder care to Hertfordshire and the surrounding area.
Dr. Bryony Bamford, Clinical Director of The London Centre said of this move “This feels like an incredibly important move for us and one that I am really proud of. I have been concerned for a long time that provisions for expert Eating Disorder care outside of London are not sufficient to meet the current level of need, so being able to bring high level specialist skill to another area of the UK is something I am really excited about. Dr. Hayley Dolan is an incredible clinician and when Hayley moved out of London to start her family, we wanted to do everything we could to ensure it was as easy for her as possible to continue to treat existing and new clients in a way that was not only convenient for her, but also improved eating disorder provision at a national level.”
Treatment options available in our Hertfordshire service will include Specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E), Family Based Treatment (FBT), Adolescent Focused Therapy for Anorexia Nervosa (AFT-AN), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – Ten (CBT-T), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy
As with our other clinics, this will be supported by access to specialist Dietetics, specialist Occupational Therapy and family support, education and guidance.

Having lived and worked in London for the last ten years, it is incredibly exciting to be back in Hertfordshire, my home county, and offering specialist eating disorder treatment to children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. I am very much looking forward to welcoming new clients in April and establishing close ties to the community over the coming months”
