Andrea Montero

(ANutr), Clinical Nutritionist

Biography

I am a Registered Associate Nutritionist (ANutr) and Intuitive Eating Counsellor specialising in Eating Disorders and disordered eating. I qualified as a nutritionist in 2019 from the University of Nottingham and subsequently completed an MSc in Eating Disorders and Clinical Nutrition from University College London.

Diet culture and its detrimental impact on people’s health and well-being have led to a salient increase in eating disorder cases. My mission is to fight against the toxicity of diet culture by empowering individuals with the fundamental skillset to reclaim their freedom around food and develop a healthier relationship with food and their bodies. In clinic, I also educate my clients around the complexity of nutrition and how it affects our physical and psychological health. I strive to promote a safe and comfortable environment and embrace an evidence-based, non-judgmental and individualised approach to nutrition and health counselling.

During my time outside work, I love to spend time in the sun while connecting with family and friends, exploring the world and its boundless cultures.
